Amii Interiors
I was contacted by these great girls and asked to take a couple shots of them for there insta and socials. They told me in there words "we're so awkward in front of the camera. Model's we are NOT!"
But.... when I arrived and had a coffee and a giggle with them I think they may just have proved themselves wrong.
I'd say that they were naturals infront of the camera and I think that the photo's show what a great relationship Eloise and Carla have with eachother.....
Who are Amii?
Amii Interiors is a full-service Interior Design Company business based in Plymouth, Devon - founded by Eloise Hay and Carla Dinari.
We provide clients with a wide range of services from large-scale remodels and the dressing of show homes, to a quick and simple makeover. Our aim is to make interior design affordable for everybody and to fully realise your property's potential by creating a tailor-made service unique to your needs.
Balancing form with function, we draw on our love of nature and craftsmanship, natural materials and a blend of neutral palettes with fresh colour combinations. We keep our eye on the latest trends and subtly incorporate them to suit each client's home, pushing a few boundaries whilst working alongside client wishes.
We formed this business of ours a little over 2 and a half years ago and have had the pleasure of working on some incredible projects within this time… It all started with a show home in Torquay in December 2021 and it grew from there.
Since then, we’ve worked on homes all over the UK & even abroad… with many clients coming back to us with new projects, which is a lovely feeling. We adore creating spaces for our clients to enjoy - this is where our passions really lies.
We’ve been involved in some incredible builds, we’ve designed, furnished and staged some stunning holiday rentals and we’ve created some amazing commercial spaces. We have also been involved in transforming the HMO interiors market in Plymouth & the South West.
2.5 years has gone by in the blink of an eye. People often ask us - what does the future of Amii Interiors hold? More of the same… We absolutely love what we do and feel very lucky that we get to call this work.
We wanted to use our page to showcase our projects, offer inspirational interiors, share our process and ‘journey’ (for want of a better expression) and connect with likeminded individuals.

How was the shoot ?

"To say we were nervous was an understatement! We aren’t natural in front of the camera, despite being regular users of social media. We definitely try and avoid being in front of the camera, and prefer our interiors to do the talking.
However, after attending a few networking events and people knowing our brand but not our faces, we thought it was time to fix that!
Mel made us feel totally at ease, suggesting we have a coffee together to relax and have a chat about what we’d like from the shoot. Mel guided us through the shoot, making sure we were making the most of the light & environment.
The results far exceeded our expectations- not because we didn’t have faith in Mel, but because we were the most awkward muses! We had planned to buy a handful of photos, however once we saw them we bought the whole lot!! There was no way we could have picked only 5, they were all incredible!"
